"Right-wing extremism and gender" - Jasmin Siri gives an online-lecture and discussion, May 17th

Using the example of self-observations and observations by others of right-wing and extreme right-wing women after the Second World War, the lecture explores the question of the interconnectedness of gender, ideology and political performance in the extreme right. The focus will be on different situations of (un)doing gender in order to include different dimensions and facets of the phenomenon in the analysis. and facets of the phenomenon into the analysis.

Dr. Jasmin Siri is sociologist focusing on political sociology, social theory, gender in political organisations and politics in social media. She currently works at the LMU Munich.
