Conferences

The IGS holds two conferences per year. They deal with topics from the fields of the participating disciplines and the research programm of the IGS as well as with the PhD-projects of the doctoral students. In autumn the conference is held at Graz, in spring at Erfurt.
The spring conference of 2018 dealt with "Religionstheorie(n) - Theorien und Praxis". In autumn 2018 the conference was dedicated to the relationship of reception and resoncance. In spring 2019 the French sociologist Bruno Latour will be guest at the University of Erfurt in the conference on resonance and repetition. The autumn conference of 2019 will be shifted to summer: The IGS will co-organise and thematically shape the "Ausseer Gespräche" at Bad Aussee.
