At the conference on "Ecphrastic narrating", 6th and 7th December 2019 at Graz, three doctoral researchers contributed with approaches to the topic from their doctoral projects.
Enno Friedrich presented on "Intertextualität, Intermedialität und das große Ganze – Venantius Fortunatus, carm. 5, 6 und die Erneuerung des carmen cancellatum", Aaron Plattner talked about "Überlegungen zu Gestaltung und Funktion des ekphrastischen Erzählens bei Pausanias", and Blaž Ploj examined the "Dramatische Umsetzung und Transformation einer Ekphrasis in Plautus’ Mostellaria".
